Start Point: Cairo International Airport, Cairo , Egypt
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Assistance at the airport for passport control and visa issuance. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Memphis – Saqqara – Pyramids of Giza
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30 am guided tours begin to visit the area of Saqqara and Memphis, about 27 km southwest of Cairo. When Memphis was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom period, Saqqara was its necropolis. Dead pharaohs, their family members, and sacred animals were ritually transported from Memphis to be permanently buried in one of the many temples in the area. In the afternoon, excursion to Giza and visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx of Giza. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Cairo tour
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30 am tours begin to visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the richest collection of antiquities from the 3,000-year-old Egyptian civilization, including the treasures of King Tut Agh Amun. In the afternoon, visit the old city of Cairo, the Church of Saint Sergius, a 5th century basilica built over a crypt where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed. Also visit the impressive Saladin Citadel, built in 1183 in the tradition of medieval fortresses, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali (also known as the Alabaster Mosque) and the Khan El Khalili Market, one of the largest markets in the Middle East. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Full day trip to Alexandria
Breakfast at the hotel. At 07:00 am departure for a full-day tour to Alexandria which includes the Catacombs, Pompey’s Column, the Library of Alexandria, the View of the Citadel of Quiet Bay, and the Gardens of Montazah. After the tour, return to Cairo and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Departure from Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for the return flight.
