Often, our friends ask us: ” How can you travel that much?” The truth is that we don’t travel that often. Perhaps more often than the usual standards we have in mind. One big truth is that if you wait for the right moment to travel (by plane at a super price, if the company is available and a thousand other excuses), you will never travel. For us, traveling has now become a way of life. We have limited our expenses, so that we can enjoy experiences that will accompany us for a lifetime. Along the way, we discovered ways to generally limit the budget of a trip. This allowed us to be able to travel more. I created a one-by-one list below so that you will find that with these 4 ways you will really make a big difference in your travel expenses.
Search for offers
Airlines are always making offers. They want us to travel, especially after covid-19, as they were financially affected. Unfortunately, the energy crisis has also affected airline ticket prices. Nowadays, you don’t find super offers, like previous. For example, in 2022 tickets to Jordan, with Ryanair, costed 25€ per person. Round trip! Despite all that, even now the airlines make offers, either for near or far destinations. The secret is to be constantly on alert, to look up on airline sites, so that you can get the opportunity. Who Said It’s Easy?
Extra tip: Install all the airline applications you are interested in on your mobile phone, so that they can notify you for offers that might be active.

Travel with only one backpack
One way to limit your travel expenses is to travel with only one backpack. Trust me you can do it. You can’t imagine what a large backpack with many compartments can fit inside. In addition to saving you a lot of money, it will offer you the freedom you need, for easy get around and comfort in frequent accommodation changing. Apply the 3-2-1 rule, that is, three tops, 2 pants and a pair of shoes are all you need for a trip for a few days. Of course, you should get socks and underwear. On your long trips, most airlines are generous. Included with the ticket are: A backpack, a carry-on bag and a large suitcase.
Travel with a group/company
If you are traveling alone, you will definitely find company wherever you are. We have met many solo travelers in the countries we have traveled to. But you will pay a little more in accommodation. Single rooms are generally more expensive, unless you are also comfortable in a hostel. If you need to rent a car, only you will bear the cost of the rental and gas, so the budget increases. So, another way to limit your travel expenses is to travel with a few friends. 4 people is an ideal number to share a car, fuel and a big Airbnb house at a super price. In general, a group of 4 people will be better priced in various activity packages as well, as it is considered a small group.
Organize your meals
A large part of the travel budget is allocated to our diet. But you can save a lot of money if you organize it properly in advance. What do I mean by that? A bag of nuts or cereal bars will save you during difficult hours of your journey and will not make you succumb to frivolous purchases due to hunger. Also, choose accommodations with a kitchen or at least a refrigerator. If you have a kitchen, a few packs of noodles in your luggage will be a perfect solution in the evening when you return from a tiring day. If you still don’t want to carry anything with you, visit the nearest markets of your residence and stock up on fruit, pasta, nuts, rolls, etc. What is most certain is that only if you organize yourself and cook an easy meal at your accommodation, you will be able to save a lot of money, and why not, extend your vacation holidays.
SAVE MORE – TRAVEL MORE.
You will never regret it!
