Time to meet
Behind DOD your travel we are Iro and Manos, a couple with the same birthday date who joined their travel enthusiasm in June 2017. Manos proposes the travel destination and Iro executes it, taking over the booking of the tickets and accommodation, the organization of the entire trip, as well as the possibility of issurance and the necessary travel documents. We are low budget travelers, since we like to travel often, but try not to miss anything. Of course, we have made sacrifices in order to travel and would do so again. Travelling is magic and we love it!
Who is Iro?
Iro wanted to be an actress, but eventually she became a teacher. She likes theatre, arts and crafts. For more than 10 years she manufactured handmade jewelry and for the last 2 she maintained an e-shop. But for the time being, she stopped everything to follow her great passion, which is travelling. She knew, since she was young, that she wanted to travel around the world! So, she started traveling with her parents from a young age. Later on, as a student in the University, in order to be able to travel, she had to work at the same time, in order to eventually organize all the trips by herself. Certainly, one lifetime is not enough to go around the world, but she will do her best for her and for whoever follows her in this magic of travelling.
Who is Manos?
Manos has been by her side in this whole project since 2017. He loved from the very first time travelling. He entered the world of trips, but without dealing with their organization. Being more practical, he solves technical issues that may arise in our travels. He provides solutions to contingencies that may arise and the most important thing is that he is not afraid of airplanes, as his job is to repair them. His dream is to be able to live abroad for a few years.
What does DOD your travel mean?
We joined forces on our first trip as a couple to magical Iceland. There, it appeared that we are ready for every madness, for every possible experience that travelling can offer. One of the most powerful experiences we will always remember is snorkeling in the tectonic rift between Europe and America, the so-called Silfra.
Travelling has since then become our personal wealth, it has become our way of life, the escape from our routine, an investment in ourselves. We dream of destinations, we organize everything ourselves, and make our dreams come true!
We believe that by investing in travels, you are investing in yourself! Every trip is a challenge and always turns out to be a unique experience of strong emotions and memories. Each new destination is a new goal that keeps us alive and on a constant alert.
